The Forsythe Memorial Trophy

Over the years many people have had a passion for our golf club, none more so than Hugh and Chrissie Forsythe. Chrissie was secretary for many years and on her death in the mid 90’s she left a bequest of over £20K to the club. There were quite a few suggestions at the time of what to do with the money, including a sprinkler system, a lounge extension, however the sum was used over the years to support the cashflow of the club through lean times. Today we celebrate Hugh and Chrissie with the Forsythe Memorial Trophy being played for.

For each day the course is closed (Only during snow cover) the period will be extended by a day.

Visitor numbers at Falkland were up this year in the wettest summer on record WHY? because the ground the course is built on drains so well, we were open when many around us were closed.
